LHH Solutions is looking to hire an experienced Benefits Specialist to be the go to person in regards to benefits for a client located in Oakland, CA. This position is Onsite, Contract to hire.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, audit, and reconcile records for different insurances and employee benefit programs
  • Serve as point of contact for employees in regards to benefits
  • Confidently explain the variety of benefit programs that company has to offer
  • Assist employees with filling our forms and registering for benefits
  • Prepare reports and statistical data in regards to benefit programs
  • Manage benefit audits to ensure accuracy of data in reports and data transmissions to third party vendors; collaborate with business systems counterparts for assessment and correction of discrepancies
  • Stay up-to-date with applicable employment-related federal and state statutory requirements and market trends
  • Assist with special global benefits administration and projects
  • Support Open Enrollment from start to finish (company wide communication, set up file feeds etc.)
  • Assist in a variety of tasks which may involve research, creating presentations, maintaining databases and other duties assigned

  • Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent years of experience
  • 2+ years experience in benefits administration or related field
  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Expertise in managing Workday Benefits system
  • Strong expertise in quantitative analysis in Excel/Google Sheets
  • Proficient in Mac and Google applications (Drive, Sheets, Slides, and Docs)
