GL Accountant in Oakland, California

LHH is looking to hire a GL Accountant for our client in San Francisco. This is a full time, direct hire role with a blended work environment. Responsibilities:

Perform bank reconciliations and record bank transactions

Participate in month-end & year-end close; prepare journal entries and supporting schedules

Work alongside the IT team on leased asset management

Perform fixed asset reconciliations and any necessary reporting

Financial analysis of operations, reporting, transactions reclassifications

Monitor company credit cards and expenses

Handle vendor set ups according to the vendor management policy

Collaborate with other accounting and finance teams on financial transactions and issue resolution

Evaluate, recommend, and implement new accounting controls and procedures

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, required

Technically proficient in all areas of accounting

Working knowledge of GAAP

Strong experience with ERP systems, required

Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Ability to work multiple projects and respond quickly to changes
