Title: HR Admin

Pay Rate: $35/HR +

Onsite Location: Oakland, CA 94607

Beautiful office with great views

Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 remote once training is complete)

Full-time: M-F

About company: This firm started more than four and a half decades ago in San Francisco, CA focusing on complex litigation and sophisticated business transactions! They helped in admitting over 1,000 lawyers across the United States, as well as foreign jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities:

Overseeing and coordinating the process of welcoming new employees to an organization.

Creating and distributing new hire paperwork, scheduling orientation sessions, coordinating with other departments to ensure new employees have the necessary equipment and resources to begin their role.

Conducting reference calls and managing employee forms.

Processing job postings for new employees.

Ensuring that all necessary compliance and legal requirements are met.

Tracking the progress of new hires and addressing any issues that may arise during the onboarding process.

Data-entry with properly inputting employees into new system (utilizing Microsoft Excel).

Qualifications:

Have up to 5-8 years of experience in Human Resources

Proven experience with ADP/Advantage ADP, and MS Office (Excel)

Adapt to company culture: family-oriented, easy-going, hands-on support & asks good questions

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work in a team-based environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

HS diploma required

Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, or a related field (preferred)
