LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with one of our clients looking to fill a Junior Accountant job for the corporate office located in Oakland, CA. This position is hybrid and the right candidate will need to be flexible, able to go on-site 2 or 3 days a week! The ideal candidate will have 1 year of accounting experience and have the ability to perform a variety of bookkeeping and financial tasks. The main job responsibilities will be processing transactions in accounts payable and accounts receivable, disbursements, expense reports and receipts, reconciling credit cards, data entry , filing, and assist with other duties and projects as assigned.


Qualifications:


- Account Payable and Accounts Receivable experience


- Solid knowledge of general accounting principles and understanding debits and credits


- Comfortable in a fast paced high volume environment


- Proficient with Microsoft Excel


- Solid communications skills (written & verbal)


- Team player, helpful, and willing to learn


- Reliable, dedicated, and gets the job done


- Detailed, organized, and quick to learn


Experience: 1 year of accounting experience (Junior Accountant, Accounts Payable Clerk, Accounts Payable Specialist, Accounts Receivable Clerk, Accounting Clerk, Accounting Assistant)


Compensation: $24.00– $28.00
