LHH is supporting our client to identify an experienced Paralegal.


You will serve as our Chief Legal Officer’s right hand. To succeed in this position, candidates should have exceptional research, communication, computer, and problem-solving skills.


Paralegal Responsibilities:



  • Assist in managing a diverse caseload of matters, including commercial litigation, compliance research and analysis, employment disputes, and regulatory matters.


  • Review and input data into various types of contracts.


  • Research and stay updated on changes in state bar ethics rules regarding legal lead generation and attorney advertising.


  • Research and analyze compliance issues related to TCPA and data privacy.


  • Collect, compile, and organize evidence and legal documentation for attorney review.


  • Research case-related factual issues using in-house files and outside reference sources, such as laws, regulations, and legal decisions and articles.


  • Acts as a liaison among all parties for scheduling and sharing information.


  • Organizes and manages documents, including creating spreadsheets and retrieval systems.


  • Coordinates the collection, review, and production of documents and responds to discovery requests.


  • Assists with trial preparation, including the assembly of exhibits, witness binders, and appendices for depositions and court filings.


  • Attends trials, depositions, and other legal proceedings, taking notes and assisting attorneys as needed.


  • Summarizes deposition and trial transcripts and exhibits.


  • Compiles information and prepares statistics, charts, graphs, and other summaries to detail the findings.


  • Files exhibits, briefs, appeals, and other legal documents with the court and opposing counsel.


  • Uses legal software and databases to assist inside and outside counsel.


Paralegal Qualifications and Skills:



  • Associates degree from an ABA approved paralegal education program or a bachelor’s degree preferred.


  • Certification, such as designation as a NALA Certified Paralegal or Advanced Certified Paralegal, National Association of Paralegal Association (NFPA) Registered Paralegal, or National Association for Lega Support (NALS) Professional Paralegal, a plus


  • 2+ years in a law firm supporting litigation.


  • Legal research and investigation skills


  • Case management experience and skills


  • Experienced in filing documents in federal court and Oklahoma state court.


  • Experienced in e-discovery, including collection of documents, collaborating with e-discovery vendors, and utilization of e-discovery platforms.


  • Written and verbal communication skills


  • Time management and organizational skills
