We are currently partnering with a non-profit in Orlando that is in need of an HR Generalist. This role will be onsite M-F 8-5 and will be contract-to-hire paying $18-19.50/hr. on the contract side. Must be open to being fully onsite. Prior HR experience and Bachelor's degree are required for this role.


Responsibilities:

  • Perform recruiting functions for various programs throughout the company
  • Post open requisitions and work with external sources to find candidates
  • Conduct interviews
  • Compile new hire documentation
  • Conduct and track background checks, drug screens, offer letters, etc.
  • Coordinate new hire training
  • Prepare various HR reports and maintain employee records/files
  • Assist with benefits, FMLA and leave requests

  • Qualifications:

  • Must have strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Prior HR experience is required, recruiting experience is strongly preferred
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, HRIS experience is a plus
