LHH is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to join our clients growing legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in liability, personal injury, and other defense litigation matters, and will support attorneys throughout all stages of case development, discovery, and trial preparation.
Responsibilities:
Assist attorneys in the preparation of cases for trial and arbitration.
Organize and manage case files, medical records, and discovery materials.
Draft and proofread pleadings, subpoenas, discovery requests and responses, and correspondence.
Coordinate depositions, IMEs, and expert witness interviews.
Summarize depositions, medical records, and other case materials.
Maintain calendars and track critical deadlines.
Assist with trial preparation including trial notebooks, exhibit lists, and witness coordination.
Perform legal research and investigation using available tools and databases.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal, preferably in personal injury or liability defense.
Strong knowledge of Florida court rules and procedures.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, legal document management software, and e-filing systems.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple cases with attention to detail and deadlines.
Paralegal certificate or degree preferred but not required with significant experience.
