The Category Manager is responsible for supporting Distribution and Logistics divisions and poses opportunity for diverse problem solving and long-range planning, development, and implementation of strategies to fulfill company goals.


Minimum Required Education:

  • BA/BS Degree in Procurement, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.

  • Required Years of Related Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement roles: preferably in supply chain or logistics

  • Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • A broad understanding of logistical operations and practices and cure procurement areas of focus
  • Strong leadership, influencing, collaboration, communication, and presentation skills are required.
  • Proactive with the ability to show creativity and innovation in developing new approaches and resolving issues.
  • Proficient in MS Excel/Knowledge and sourcing tools.
  • Change management and process / continuous improvement expertise.
  • Six Sigma or Lean Certification preferred.
