• Sr. Accountant (Contract)

  LHH is hiring for a Sr. Accountant in the Palm Beach Gardens, FL area. Our client is searching for a Sr. Accountant to join their team on a contract basis with a strong commercial property accounting background. This position is working fully in the office.

  Responsibilities to include:

  · Record monthly accruals, amortization, straight-line rent and adjusting journal entries

  · Reconciles balance sheet accounts monthly and identify appropriate accounting treatment to resolve discrepancies

  · Maintain Fixed Assets system, depreciation calculation and journal entries

  · Prepare monthly cash and loan reconciliations

  · Prepare sales tax, management fees and related records

  · Maintain supporting documentation, workpaper and filing system

  · Analyze variance comments for actual/budget comparison

  · Review job cost transactions to verify allocations accuracy, and compile draw packet to submit to the lenders

  · Compile monthly financial partners packets accurately and timely

  · Review Accounts Payable Vouchers

  · Performs Annual CAM Reconciliations

  · Compile and submit the monthly lender capital funding requisitions

  · Assist with preparation of annual budgets and semi-annual forecasts

  You are a great fit if:

  · Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Timberline and Yardi preferred.

  · Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is preferred.

  · Minimum 3+ years of experience in commercial office and retail accounting

  This position will pay an hourly salary rate of $35/hr-$43/hr. Please apply today!
