LHH Recruitment Solutions (formerly Accounting Principals) is looking for a Junior Accountant for a client of ours in the Paramus, NJ area. The ideal candidate will have a degree in accounting and some professional office experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
  • Reconcile bank statements
  • Review financial statements and perform variance analysis
  • Journal entries and adjusting journal entries
  • Post cash receipts
  • Assist with special projects as needed
  • Qualifications:

  • At least some experience in a professional environment or a customer service driven capacity where professionalism and customer service are a priority
  • Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance
  • Skills:

  • Ability to work independently on multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
  • Strong computer skills, especially Excel
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
