LHH Recruitment Solutions (fka Accounting Prinicpals) is assisting our Parsippany, New Jersey client in their search for a Junior Payroll Coordinator. This is a permanent, direct hire position with a hybrid schedule.

Job Description:

  • Supporting a bi-weekly payroll schedule
  • Assisting with the preparation of calculation of wages, overtime, compensatory time and deductions
  • Ensuring compliance with tax regulations and wage and hour laws
  • Assisting with prepare bi-weekly journal entries which includes the distribution of payroll costs by department
  • Processing new hires, employee status changes, and additional earnings
  • Preparing payroll reports for management
  • Qualifications:

  • 1 year of Payroll experience
  • Knowledge of payroll processing and tax principles
  • Experience with ADP preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Exceptional communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Detail oriented
