Job Opportunity: Junior Payroll Specialist – Hybrid Role in Pasadena
Location: Pasadena, CA (2 days on-site, 3 work from home) Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Benefits: Full benefits package
Job Overview:
An exciting opportunity has arisen with one of our clients, for a Junior Payroll Specialist looking to build a career in payroll. This is a temporary to hire opportunity and the successful candidate will join a payroll department of 15 people, responsible for processing payroll for 1,000-1,500 employees out of a global workforce of 11,000.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with payroll processing for 1,000-1,500 employees.
Work closely with the payroll team to ensure accurate and timely payroll operations.
Utilize ADP software (highly preferred) to manage payroll tasks.
Apply MS Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables, to assist with payroll analysis and reporting.
Collaborate with the team to learn and manage multi-state payroll (training provided).
Qualifications:
1-3 years of payroll experience preferred.
New graduates with a strong passion for payroll are encouraged to apply.
Experience with ADP is highly preferred.
Knowledge of multi-state payroll is a plus, but training will be provided.
Proficient in MS Excel, with experience in VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.
Positive attitude, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
