Contract/Temp to Hire
$24.00 - $26.00 per Hour
- Reconcile vendor statements to ensure all invoices are accounted for.
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Assist in the month-end closing process related to accounts payable.
- Receive and review invoices for accuracy and completeness.
- Code and enter invoices into the accounting system.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of payments.
- Communicate with vendors to resolve discrepancies and address inquiries.
- Maintain positive relationships with vendors and internal departments
- Generate reports and provide support for audits as needed.
- Assist with special projects and additional tasks as assigned by the Finance Manager.
- Contribute to process improvements and efficiencies within the accounts payable function.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in accounting or finance is a plus.
- Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk or in a similar role.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
