LHH is currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our client’s finance team as an Accounts Payable Clerk. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions, maintaining vendor relationships, and contributing to the overall efficiency of our financial operations. Key Responsibilities:
  • Reconcile vendor statements to ensure all invoices are accounted for.
  • Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Assist in the month-end closing process related to accounts payable.
  • Receive and review invoices for accuracy and completeness.
  • Code and enter invoices into the accounting system.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of payments.
  • Communicate with vendors to resolve discrepancies and address inquiries.
  • Maintain positive relationships with vendors and internal departments
  • Generate reports and provide support for audits as needed.
  • Assist with special projects and additional tasks as assigned by the Finance Manager.
  • Contribute to process improvements and efficiencies within the accounts payable function.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in accounting or finance is a plus.
  • Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk or in a similar role.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
