Payroll Specialist

LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a growing company on their search for a Payroll Specialist in the Scottsdale, AZ area. If you are a dynamic payroll specialist who has processed payroll for over 500+ employees and has UKG, then this is the role for you. In this position, you are responsible for processing payroll and providing payroll reports. This is a contract role offering $26-29/hr based on experience.

Responsibilities:

· Process payroll accurately and on time, including data entry, calculation of hours, overtime, and deductions.

· Maintain employee payroll records and ensure data accuracy.

· Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters.

· Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.

· Prepare and distribute payroll reports to relevant departments.

· Assist in reconciling payroll discrepancies and preparing necessary adjustments.

· Stay current with changes in payroll regulations and best practices.

· Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:

· Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing.

· Proficiency in payroll software UKG is a plus.

· Strong understanding of payroll regulations and compliance.

· Excellent organizational and time management skills.

· Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
