LHH is looking for a project accountant to join out clients accounting team. This candidate should have a background in construction with knowledge of the accounting process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage project financials including budgets, cost tracking, and forecasting
• Process and review subcontractor invoices, purchase orders, and change orders
• Perform monthly job cost reconciliations and prepare financial reports
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate billing and cost allocations
• Monitor contract compliance and assist with audits and reporting
• Maintain accurate records in Spectrum and ensure data integrity
• Support month-end close processes and assist with WIP reporting

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in project accounting, preferably in the construction industry
• Proficiency with Spectrum Construction Software is required
• Strong understanding of job costing, AIA billing, and construction financial workflows
• Excellent Excel skills and familiarity with accounting principles
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
