Contract Immigration Legal Administrative Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to attorneys and legal staff, including document preparation, proofreading, and filing.
  • Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate legal appointments.
  • Organize and maintain legal files, both physical and digital.
  • Assist with client communications and follow-ups.
  • Prepare and process legal correspondence and forms.
  • Support case tracking and deadline management.

Preferred Experience:

  • Prior experience in immigration law is a plus, but not required.
  • Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures.
  • Experience with legal document management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a legal administrative or legal assistant role.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote or hybrid setting.
  • Associates degree or Paralegal Certificate preferred, but not required.
