LHH is partnering with a top Real Estate client for a Facilities Engineer role in Dallas, TX! The ideal candidate will have experience handling facilities maintenance for a commercial office space, at least 3-5 years of experience. This is a permanent role offering great pay and benefits! Key Responsibilities

Technical Expertise & Knowledge

  • Maintain a strong understanding of building systems, lease requirements, inspections, and maintenance protocols.

  • Stay current with industry standards through ongoing training and development, including Granite-led programs.

Engineering Operations

  • Ensure reliable operation of building systems across assigned properties.

  • Perform maintenance and repairs on mechanical systems (DDC, pneumatic controls), plumbing, electrical systems, access control, and fire/life safety systems.

  • Conduct general building maintenance including ceilings, lighting, roofing, doors, flooring, and parking areas.

  • Maintain accurate records and documentation per supervisor guidelines.

  • Participate in on-call rotations, responding promptly to remote and onsite issues, and communicating effectively with property teams.

  • Support construction and capital projects by reviewing plans, attending meetings, and assisting with inspections and installations.

  • Collaborate with Property Management on budgets, inspections, and operational impacts.

  • Respond effectively to emergencies as trained and directed.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Customer & Partner Relations

  • Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, aligned with Granite’s mission to “Inspire People to Flourish Through the Places We Create.”

  • Maintain professionalism in appearance and conduct.

  • Provide timely and effective communication and resolution to customer requests.

  • Engage in company and building-related events and initiatives.

  • 3–5 years of relevant industry experience.

  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.

  • Preferred: Industry certifications in electrical, mechanical, or safety.

  • Willingness to pursue further certifications (e.g., SMA, SMT, HVAC, or stationary engineer licenses).

  • Availability for overtime, on-call duties, and emergency response.

  • Reliable transportation for travel between properties.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.



Pay Details: $65,000.00 to $70,000.00 per year
