Job Title: Accounts Receivable/ Deduction Specialist

Location: Pomona, CA - HYBRID

Pay Rate: $30-33/hr

Job Description: The Accounts Receivable/Deductions Specialist will be responsible for managing and resolving deductions, ensuring accurate and timely processing of accounts receivable transactions, and maintaining strong relationships with customers, particularly big box retailers. This role requires excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and resolve customer deductions and discrepancies, with a focus on big box retailer accounts.

  • Process and post accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely.

  • Monitor and reconcile accounts receivable aging reports.

  • Communicate with customers to resolve outstanding issues and ensure timely payments.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to address and resolve billing issues.

  • Prepare and analyze monthly AR reports and metrics.

  • Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable.

  • Maintain accurate and organized records of all transactions and communications.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounts receivable and deductions management, with experience handling big box retailer accounts.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.



Pay Details: $30.00 to $33.00 per hour
