HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT

Seeking an HR Assistant that enjoys working in a collaborative team environment for a temporary on-site position in Pomona, CA. This is a great opportunity to gain valuable insight and experience within an HR department.

This person should have experience in providing support to both an HR department as well as employees regarding human resources activities, processes, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule meetings and prepare meeting agendas
  • Schedule and coordinate new hire orientation
  • Provide administrative support in Human Resources
  • Verify employee data and maintain employee files
  • Provide general Administrative support
  • Experience

  • Minimum 1 year Human Resources experience in manufacture/distribution industry
  • Knowledge and understanding of benefits and enrollment practices
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Skills

  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
