LHH is currently seeking applicants on behalf of our client in Portland, Oregon. Our client urgently requires attorneys to join a project team responsible for managing product liability class action litigation and mass tort matters. Please note that these positions do not involve eDiscovery document review.
Candidates must hold a Juris Doctor degree, possess an active license in at least one US jurisdiction, and reside within a 50-mile radius of Portland, OR. However, the job offers full remote work flexibility.
Responsibilities:Analyzing claim documents
Preparing detailed responses to sometimes complex written inquiries of claimants and counsel
Fielding sometimes complex telephone inquiries from claimants and counsel
Receiving training, direction and oversight from project directors, project managers, project coordinators, and/or other project team members
Qualifications:
JD from an accredited U.S. law school (foreign law degree may suffice)
Active license in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
Litigation experience preferred
Class action and/or mass tort experience a plus
Attention to detail
Ability to multi-task
Flexibility
Customer service approach
