HR Generalist


LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a company located in Portland, OR This company is looking for a full-time, onsite HR Generalist to join their team. This will be a traditional Monday-Friday schedule and is a contract position. Candidates may sit on-site near Portland, OR.

Duties will include:

  • Onboarding all new employees
  • Managing employee LOA/FMLA or ADA requests
  • Handle unemployment and worker’s compensation claims
  • Review and complete unemployment notices for separation information.
  • Act as a liaison for employees regarding benefits inquiries
  • Annual enrollment
  • Complete unemployment wage audits.
  • Attend unemployment hearings.

  • Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years of HR experience required
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge of state and federal employment laws
  • Previous experience working in a high-volume hourly environment
  • The ability to work well in a team environment and respond appropriately to all kinds of situations that may arise
  • Strong written and verbal communication

  • Pay: Up to $70K DOE
