Position Summary: As a Cyber Security Specialist, you will play a crucial role in developing, implementing, and maintaining security measures to protect the organization’s information systems. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of cyber threats, risk management, and security technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and manage security policies, standards, and procedures.

• Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing to identify and address potential security risks.

• Monitor and analyze security alerts and incidents to detect and respond to potential threats.

• Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure security controls are in place and effective.

• Provide security training and awareness programs for employees.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technology solutions.

• Assist in the development of disaster recovery and incident response plans.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity or related roles.

• Strong knowledge of security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).

• Experience with security tools and technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, antivirus, and endpoint protection.

• Proficiency in conducting security assessments and vulnerability management.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or similar are highly desirable.
