HR Generalist in Portland, Oregon

LHH Recruitment Solutions has an open HR Generalist position open for a great company headquartered in Hillsboro, OR. The company has been exponentially growing, and this new role is open due to that growth. This is a direct hire role, and they are ready to bring the right person on ASAP. This would be a fantastic role for someone looking to take the next step in their career from an HR Admin or Coordinator, into an HR Generalist role, OR for someone looking for a career change!

Position Details:

Duration: Direct hire

Hours: M-F, either 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm

Pay: $55,000-$61,000 + annual bonus

Location: Onsite in Hillsboro, OR

Qualifications:

Ideal candidate will have 5 total years of HR experience (even if it wasn't in a Generalist role, such as an HR Admin or HR Coordinator)

Bachelors Degree preferred but not required

Experience using an HRIS system

Someone who is outgoing and coachable, and gets along well working with others

Strong communicator and organizational skills

What you'll be doing:

Conducting background checks, references, and scheduling drug screens for new employees

Onboarding new hires and scheduling orientation

Manager support for HR related functions

Providing benefits information to employees and assisting with changes

Employee relations including investigations

Seasonal projects related to HR
