Job Title: Learning and Development Manager
Location: Portland, Oregon
Salary: $90,000 - $100,000 per year
Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Learning and Development Manager to join their team in Portland, Oregon. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive training programs that enhance employee skills and performance. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a passion for fostering a culture of continuous learning.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute learning strategies and programs.
Evaluate individual and organizational development needs.
Implement various learning methods (e.g., coaching, job-shadowing, online training).
Design and deliver e-learning courses, workshops, and other trainings.
Assess the success of development plans and help employees make the most of learning opportunities.
Track budgets and negotiate contracts.
Manage a team of trainers and instructional designers.
Stay updated on the latest trends in learning and development.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
Proven experience as a Learning and Development Manager or similar role.
Strong knowledge of effective learning and development methods.
Familiarity with e-learning platforms and practices.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ability to build rapport with employees and vendors.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
