Practice Assistant (Legal Assistant)

LHH is seeking a Practice Assistant to join a fantastic law firm in downtown Portland, Oregon! This position will be responsible for supporting attorneys in their busy and growing Corporate & Transactional practice group. Do you have at least three (3) years of corporate paralegal experience working in a corporate legal department or law firm/professional services environment? Then this position may just be for you!

This role is for a full-time Direct Hire position to be full time in the downtown Portland office. After completion of training of 6 months+, there may be the option to move to a hybrid work schedule. Responsibilities:

  • Provide general administrative support to Lawyers
  • Communicate with clients, lawyers and other administrative professionals
  • Proofreading, document formatting, maintenance of client files and attorney contacts

    • Required Experience and Skills:

  • At least one of the following:
  • A certificate of completion of a paralegal program approved by the ABA; or
  • A degree from a postsecondary institution with a minimum of 24 units in law-related courses accredited by a national or regional accrediting organization as required by State law
  • At least 3 years of corporate paralegal experience working in a corporate legal department or law firm/professional services environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Previous experience with iMange, Elite, Intapp, Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobate and DocuSign a plus
