Patient Advocate

LHH is currently searching for a Patient Advocate in Portland, OR. We are looking for a strong candidate to address patient questions, route the patient to the right source, collect patient demographic information, and collect all paperwork. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to grow their experience in the healthcare industry.

Responsibilities:

Ensure all admission paperwork is complete

Confirm patient demographic information, verify patient insurance, and explain any benefits questions.

Follow up with patients in a timely manner.

Verify authorization validity.

Keep consistent documentation in patient file.

Address questions and concerns presented by patients.

Qualifications:

Call Center experience

Data Entry experience

Healthcare experience is a big plus
