- Develop and Implement Continuous Improvement Strategies: Create and execute a Lean Six Sigma roadmap, conducting comprehensive analysis and prioritization of key opportunities for each site. Engage cross-functional members to ensure successful execution of initiatives.
- Performance Management: Actively participate in Gemba and shop floor activities to support proactive performance management. Monitor and report on KPIs, with a focus on weekly and monthly performance analysis.
- Training and Coaching: Provide Lean Six Sigma training at various levels (Green Belt, Yellow Belt, and Basic) to build site capability. Coach and mentor Green Belt and Yellow Belt projects to drive continuous improvement.
- Deploy Lean Management Systems: Lead the deployment of Lean Management systems such as Gemba, Kaizen, TPM, JIT, VSM, and Flow to achieve Best in Class Lean Maturity.
- Operational Excellence Leadership: Oversee Operational Excellence efforts including Lean Six Sigma, Industrial Engineering, and Project Management. Support excellence initiatives at key suppliers and in commercialization efforts.
- Strategic Investment and Risk Mitigation: Collaborate with Project Engineering teams and Manufacturing Leadership on strategic investment plans, addressing capacity and capability gaps through risk mitigation.
- Advanced Technologies: Participate in the ideation, development, evaluation, and execution of advanced technologies like Robotics and Manufacturing Execution Systems.
- Best Practices Sharing: Drive the sharing of best practices and lessons learned across global communication platforms, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
- Cultural and Behavioral Change: Foster a culture of Operational Excellence and Lean Continuous Improvement through coaching, mentoring, and influencing at all organizational levels.
- Education:
- B.S. degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related technical field preferred.
- Certified Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt preferred.
- Experience:
- 5-10 years of experience in industrial engineering or operations at a managerial level or above.
