LHH Professional Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a Ramsey, New Jersey based company in their search for a Financial Services Associate. This opportunity is being offered on a temporary to permanent basis and will offer a salary up to $52,000 when permanent. The Financial Services role will be 100% on-site. This position will ultimately perform a range of credit and collections activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in collection efforts for the timely receipt of payments, including contact with customers, follow-up letters and research.

  • Establish and maintain contact with customers concerning past due invoices, payment trends and other matters related to accounts receivable to improve cash flow.

  • Analyze credit checks to determine credit limits for the entering of New Accounts.

  • Analyze customer accounts to determine the release of orders.

  • Pursue resolution of disputed receivables and invoice errors.

  • Negotiate customer payment plans.

  • Investigate discrepancies and initiate credits to clients’ accounts.

  • Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Prior customer service experience
  • Collections experience helpful
  • H.S. Diploma
  • Highly motivated
  • Work Hours: 9-6 pm, on-site in Ramsey, New Jersey
