LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for an Accounting Assistant, contract to hire, to work in the office in Richmond, Virginia. Qualified candidates will have previous accounting and general office experience.

Contract Pay: $16 to $18 an hour

Permanent Pay: $18 to $20 an hour

Duties:

  • File invoices
  • Handle data entry, processing of bills, and vendor invoices
  • Assist with payroll duties
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail
  • Provide assistance around the accounting department as needed
  • Requirements:

  • High school diploma
  • 2+ years' experience with accounting (processing invoices) and general office duties
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Detail orientation and problem-solving abilities
  • Hours: Full time, working Monday through Friday.
