Hiring! Director of Operations (Fulfillment & Logistics).
We’re looking for a hands-on operations leader to own the entire fulfillment journey—from order to delivery. Duties:
Direct daily operations related to order fulfillment, including picking, packing, shipping, and final-mile logistics.
Be present and visible on the warehouse floor (approximately 80% of the time) to ensure smooth operations, identify inefficiencies, and support team performance.
Lead and develop supervisors and frontline staff, cultivating a culture of accountability, safety, and high performance.
Collaborate across departments—including production, inventory, sales, and customer support—to align fulfillment processes with business and customer needs.
Analyze and optimize workflows, layout utilization, and operational systems to improve speed, accuracy, and cost-efficiency.
Ensure proper handling and care of premium and fragile goods to maintain quality standards and reduce returns or damages.
Maintain strict adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., OSHA).
Monitor, report, and present key metrics (e.g., order accuracy, cost per shipment, cycle time) to executive leadership with actionable recommendations.
Take on additional responsibilities and initiatives as needed.
Qualifications:
6+ years of experience in fulfillment, warehouse, or distribution operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field required.
Experience managing teams in a production or manufacturing setting is a must.
Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly desirable.
OSHA General Industry 10 or 30 certification preferred.
Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher) is a plus.
Proficient in warehouse or fulfillment software (WMS/ERP); experience with NetSuite is a strong plus.
Skilled in Microsoft Office; experience with project tools like Monday.com a plus.
Strong leadership and coaching ability with a team-focused mindset.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
Background in luxury goods or high-end product fulfillment is a major advantage.
Dedicated to continuous improvement and workplace safety.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to regularly navigate a non-temperature-controlled warehouse environment.
Tolerant of loud noise levels typical of a busy distribution center.
Able to lift or move items up to 30 pounds.
Capable of walking 10k–20k steps per day.
Comfortable working at a desk for long periods when needed.
Must be able to climb stairs regularly.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $150,000–$170,000 annually
