HR Generalist

LHH has a direct-hire HR Generalist opportunity with our client located in the Richmond, VA area. This role focuses heavily on the daily use of the HR system to manage various aspects of HR administration related to recruiting, onboarding, payroll, performance management, etc. This is a hybrid opportunity offer with the expectation of 2-3 days working in the office.

  • Utilizing ADP Vantage to post open positions, create offer letters, order backgrounds/drug screens, set up new hires in the system.
  • Ensuring accurate entry into ADP HR Systems for transfers, promotions, merit increases, location/cost center changes.
  • Reviewing employee time records for bi-weekly payroll processing/working with location managers to ensure accuracy in reporting of time for their employees.
  • Providing guidance to employees and managers on HR related issues.
  • Preparation and distribution of annual Incentive Plans and new employee Incentive Plan preparation and distribution. Maintenance of monthly tracker in conjunction with IC/commission payouts.
  • In conjuction with corporate office, participates in employee file and HR system audits
  • Coordinating set-up for employees in Motus (company auto allowance program); running reports as required for leadership review
  • Assists with HR related projects as required and
  • Manages various aspects of HR communications relating to new hires, employee recognition, promotion annoucments, etc.
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 5 years HR experiene
  • Experience with ADP Vantage strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated experience utlizing HR technology to manage multiple aspects of HR administration
