LHH is currently looking for an experienced Sr HR Generalist for a direct-hire opportunity with our Richmond, VA client. This role is heavily focused on managing regional recruiting initiatives and employee engagement. The flexibility to travel 25% of the time within the region is required. This opportunity offers a hybrid schedule with the ability to work onsite 2-3 days per week.

  • Establishing sound and practical recruiting methods to source and fill positions with office locations within the region
  • Assisting location hiring managers with filling positions
  • Managing local job fair participation and college recruiting
  • Determining temporary staffing needs based on assessment of current openings
  • Advising location hiring managers on temporary and permanent hire
  • Utilizing Retensa program to manage attrition
  • Leading company Employee Engagement initiatives as assigned
  • Spearheading regional communication initiatives as assigned
  • Performing other duties as required in various HR related projects
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 10 years of HR work experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong technology skills
  • Ability to travel approximately 25% of the time
