Mechanical Draftsman

We have an open Mechanical Draftsman position for a great client of ours. In this role you will be asked to create technical drawings in 2d and 3d using Solidworks. You will collect initial drawings, calculations and design ideas from engineers and verify design details and recommend modifications as needed according to company standards and best practices. This person will also be tasked with assisting in ongoing project to standardize and unify design document standards.

This position will be hybrid and will have flexible hours.

Qualifications:

Must have Solidworks Software experience

Open on experience within the workforce; will look at new grads and train

Must have at least an Associates Degree

Responsibilities:

Create technical drawings, manufacturing schematics, and 2D and 3D CAD models using Solidworks Software

Coordinate directly with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements,

Verify design details and recommend modifications as needed according to company standards and best practices
