Order Entry Specialist

The Order Entry Specialist is responsible for accurately and efficiently processing customer orders. This role involves data entry, order verification, and customer communication to ensure timely order fulfillment. The ideal candidate possesses strong attention to detail, accuracy, and a high level of data entry proficiency. This is a Contract role located near Rolling Meadows, IL.

Responsibilities:
  • Accurately enter customer orders into the order processing system.
  • Verify order details, including product quantities, pricing, and shipping information.
  • Process order modifications and cancellations.
  • Communicate with customers regarding order status, changes, or issues.
  • Coordinate with warehouse or fulfillment teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
  • Maintain accurate order records and documentation.
  • Identify and resolve order discrepancies or errors.
  • Assist with inventory management and stock control.
  • Provide support to the sales and customer service teams.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in order entry or data entry is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent data entry skills and proficiency with computer systems.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong customer service skills.
Job Details:
  • Contract
  • Monday-Friday
  • Pay is $22-$27 an hour, depending on experience
