Customer Service / Order Processing Specialist position in Romeoville, IL!


Lee Hecht Harrison is looking for a dynamic customer service professional with prior experience working within an industrial manufacturing environment to process large orders for major retailers across the U.S. If you’re interested in working for an organization that values hard work and a dedication to service excellence, this opportunity is for you!


Responsibilities:

  • Fielding calls from retail distribution customers (Walmart, Amazon, etc.) regarding order information, pricing, logistics & shipping issues, damaged product, etc.
  • Processing work order tickets in multiple systems such as SAP, Salesforce and ensuring that all issues are resolved in a timely manner
  • Working with multiple departments including production, logistics, sales to gather information for dissemination to the customer
  • Processing invoice corrections (debits, credits) for customer orders for returned or damaged products
  • Providing order documentation to customers such as the PO, Invoice, BOL, Customs Paperwork, Certificates of Authenticity, etc.)

  • Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of customer service experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, industrial, or logistics environment with an emphasis on Order Processing, Order Entry, etc.
  • Experience updating systems such as SAP, Salesforce, EDI’s, ERP’s or other business-related systems with detailed information & precise documentation
  • Strong communication ability and a knack for problem solving issues both big & small
  • Experience dealing with purchase orders, Bills of Lading, Customs Paperwork, and other documents related to large shipments

  • Hours:

  • Monday – Friday; 8:30am – 5:00pm (Full-Time) (37.5 Hour Work Week)

  • Dress Code:

  • Smart Casual (Jeans, etc.)

  • Report To:

  • Director of Customer Service

  • Worksite:

  • Hybrid / Work From Home (Mondays & Fridays are Remote)

  • Compensation & Benefits:

  • $55,000 + Discretionary Bonus
