Position: HR Generalist Location: Sacramento, CA Employment Type: Direct Hire Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Salary: $65,000 per year


About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Generalist to join our team in the Sacramento area. This is a direct hire opportunity with a standard work schedule of 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of ADP and Excel and will assist in a variety of administrative tasks within the Human Resources Department.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Payroll Administration: Assist in the processing of payroll, including employee timecards and account reconciliation.


  • Data Entry & Filing: Maintain accurate records and ensure timely filing of HR-related documents.


  • Expense Management: Process employee expense reimbursements and ensure proper documentation.


  • Continuing Education Tracking: Monitor and track continuing education credits for attorneys.


  • Retirement Plan Support: Assist the Retirement Plan Administrator with various tasks related to the company's retirement plan.


  • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the HR department as needed.


Qualifications:



  • Strong Proficiency in ADP: Must have extensive experience using ADP for payroll and HR functions.


  • Excel Expertise: Advanced knowledge of Excel, including data analysis and reporting.


  • HR Experience: Previous experience in an HR Generalist or related role.


  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.


  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.


  • Stable Work History: Must not be job hoppy; a consistent work history is required.
