- Facilitate month-end/year-end closing process
- Review journal entries, accruals, GL reconciliations, and entries
- Mentor and grow a small team of accounting professionals
- Complete budgeting and forecasting to help drive business decisions
- Monitor, analyze, and report work in progress (WIP)
- Facilitate and guide the annual audit process
- Collaborate with HR and other divisional leaders
- Additional duties as the business may require
- Minimum 5 years of experience leading an accounting staff
- Experience with financial reporting, analysis, and contract management
- Experience with internal controls and facilitating audit
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required
- CPA highly desired, but not required
- Experience with work in progress (WIP)
- Versed in month-end close, audit, and financial reporting
- Strong communication skills and the desire to lead a team
- Contract management experience
- Operational accounting and/or finance experience in construction or manufacturing desired
