LHH is seeking an Accounts Payable Accounting Assistant in the San Diego, CA area! The AP Accounting Assistant is responsible for accounts payable and other accounting duties as assigned. If you are in the market for your next opportunity – apply today!

Duties include but not limited to:

  • Weekly accounts payable processing and accurate general ledger coding of all invoice, check request and expense reimbursements
  • Maintain accounts payable vendor files ensuring accurate files, forms and approvals received
  • Preparation of weekly check run, matching invoices and ensuring approvals, payment processing and mailing
  • Prepare 1099 filings, ensuring accurate systems database information and filings
  • Prepare weekly cash and check deposits for courier and bank
  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelors’ Degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience: bookkeeping and/or accounting/finance
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Detail oriented & organized
