LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist for our client in San Diego, CA. This temporary-to-hire opportunity is fully onsite.

The AP Specialist will be responsible for processing AP and ensuring timely payments, reviewing invoices, responding to inquiries, resolving disputes and maintaining accurate records. This would be a great opportunity for an applicant with a desire to grow into the Staff Accountant role in the future and take on additional tasks.

Responsibilities:

· Process invoices into AP system and ensure timely payments

· Review all invoices prior to payment

· Compile and maintain AP records, including filing and copying

· Obtain signatures on all AP checks and distribute checks as required

· Code invoices to appropriate GL account

· Review vendor statements

· Reconcile disputes and resolve invoices beyond acceptable payment terms

· Respond to vendor inquiries

Qualifications:

· 2-4 years of experience preferred

· Associate’s degree, trade school degree, professional certification or equivalent

· Strong Excel skills

· Excellent attention to detail and data entry accuracy

· Hospitality experience preferred
