LHH is partnering with a dynamic entertainment company located in San Diego to hire an Accounts Receivable Clerk. Position Overview: The Accounts Receivable Clerk will play a crucial role in our client’s organization by handling the billing process, communicating with internal departments regarding invoices and payments, resolving billing discrepancies, and maintaining accurate accounts receivable records.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Generate and issue invoices to clients accurately and in a timely manner.


  • Communicate effectively with internal departments to ensure prompt billing and payment status updates.


  • Analyze and resolve complex billing issues and discrepancies.


  • Prepare and process bank deposits.


  • Post and reconcile payments to appropriate accounts.


  • Research and resolve payment discrepancies and other issues affecting accounts receivable.


  • Maintain accounts receivable files and records.


  • Collaborate with the accounting team to review accounts receivable aging reports monthly.


  • Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.


Requirements:



  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles, accounts receivable, or billing procedures.


  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.


  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.


  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., vlookups, pivot tables) is required.


  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.


  • Detail-oriented and able to maintain accuracy in work.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).


  • Previous experience in accounts receivable or billing role is a plus.
