Business Intelligence & IT Manager

LHH Technology has partnered with a fantastic client in San Diego, California and they are seeking a Business Intelligence & IT Manager to lead and manage two departments. The position objective is to both establish and measure short and long-term objectives and key results for each department through a business intelligence-informed lens, and to address the day-to-day technological needs of the organization. This is nonprofit organization that develops, rehabilitates, preserves affordable apartment communities throughout California.

This is Hybrid role in San Diego, CA

Responsibilities

  • Managing the process of developing and maintaining a comprehensive resident and property data system
  • Must be universally applicable to meeting the analysis and reporting needs of all departments, including organizational leadership.
  • Oversee the automated process for the import of data from external databases and/or platforms.
  • Strategic and operational leadership within IT. Spearhead the processes of designing, implementing, maintaining, and upgrading all IT infrastructure including wide area fiber optic network, local area networks, application, file and print servers (some in a virtualized environment), VoIP telephone systems, integration with cloud-based services, personal computers, and operating systems.
  • Lead IT team to rapidly respond to any urgent individual and departmental technology situations and requests for technology support, both during and outside of normal business hours, as necessary.
  • Having your team become proficient in internal databases, including Kintone, SharePoint, MS Team, Workboard, Raiser’s Edge, MRI, and Power BI.
  • Oversee timely, accurate, and complete response to compliance requirements for external organizations, such as NeighborWorks, HPN, SAM, as well as any/all other regular reporting (periodically, quarterly, and annual).
  • Proactive and positive customer support regiment for staff and residents, including a service delivery satisfaction review process
  • Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or Business Management/Administration.
  • Minimum of 5 years of verifiable and demonstrated relevant professional real estate technological experience and competence in related fields required.
  • Highly skilled in computer programming, software development, and computer network security.
  • Minimum of 5 years of verifiable and demonstrated relevant business experience and competence in project management, professional development, IT strategy, corporate decision-making, database & network management, research & analysis methodology, and superior oral, written & non-verbal communication skills required; and
  • 5 years of network and server administration experience in a fast-paced support environment.
  • 2-3 years' experience supervising a Business and Information Technology team
