Healthcare Customer Service Representative / Call Center CSR / Patient Scheduler

LHH is seeking Healthcare Customer Service representatives/Patient Schedulers in San Diego, CA. This is a TEMPORARY job with a possibility for Permanent Placement where you will start off at 18.00 per hour.

Job Duties:

  • Answering an average of 80 incoming calls per day from patients
  • Gathering patient information to confirm who you are speaking with
  • Typing accurate and detailed notes into internal computer system
  • Sending messages to doctors and nurses for follow up
  • Routing calls to the nurse triage line when needed
  • Scheduling appointments for several departments within the healthcare network
  • Conducting outbound calls to follow up with patients and physicians as needed
  • Accurately entering large amounts of data at a fast-pace?
  • Qualifications:

  • Passion for customer service
  • Sharp, able to catch on to training very quickly
  • Strong typing skills with a high level of accuracy
  • Ability to work on multiple screens while answering heavy back to back calls
  • Professional/conservative demeanor and appearance (no visible tattoos or piercings)
  • Attendance and punctuality are HUGE, limited ability to get time off approve
  • Training:
  • FAST TRAINING, High expectations on turn-around time to be fully up and running
  • Day One: Shadowing a trainer for 75% of the day, by the end of the first day they want to see our associates taking the initiative to try a few phone calls
  • Day Two: Trainer will listen in on calls and be there for support/questions
  • Day Three: Typically up and running!
  • They start with taking the calls and logging detailed notes, and once they have mastered logging the notes they will move them on to scheduling appointments
  • Compensation:

  • Hourly rate is 18.00$
