Job Title: Healthcare Customer Service Specialist
Location: Mission Valley, San Diego, CA
Employment Type: Full-Time | On-Site
A rapidly growing healthcare organization in Mission Valley is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Healthcare Customer Service Specialist to join our client’s team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patients and providers, helping to ensure a positive experience through professional, timely, and accurate service. You’ll handle incoming calls, schedule appointments, verify insurance, and assist with general inquiries related to patient care and services.
Key Responsibilities:
Answer high-volume inbound calls and respond to patient inquiries
Schedule, confirm, and update appointments
Verify insurance coverage and collect necessary documentation
Provide accurate information about services, policies, and billing
Maintain detailed and accurate records in the system
Collaborate with medical and administrative staff to support patient needs
Qualifications:
1–2 years of customer service experience, preferably in healthcare
Call center experience is a plus
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance verification is a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Working Hours:
Full-time
Onsite
Monday- Friday
8am-5pm PST

Compensation: $24.00 per hour
