Job Title: Healthcare Customer Service Specialist

Location: Mission Valley, San Diego, CA


Employment Type: Full-Time | On-Site



A rapidly growing healthcare organization in Mission Valley is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Healthcare Customer Service Specialist to join our client’s team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patients and providers, helping to ensure a positive experience through professional, timely, and accurate service. You’ll handle incoming calls, schedule appointments, verify insurance, and assist with general inquiries related to patient care and services.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer high-volume inbound calls and respond to patient inquiries

  • Schedule, confirm, and update appointments

  • Verify insurance coverage and collect necessary documentation

  • Provide accurate information about services, policies, and billing

  • Maintain detailed and accurate records in the system

  • Collaborate with medical and administrative staff to support patient needs


Qualifications:

  • 1–2 years of customer service experience, preferably in healthcare

  • Call center experience is a plus

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

  • Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance verification is a plus

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office


Working Hours:

  • Full-time

  • Onsite

  • Monday- Friday

  • 8am-5pm PST
