Receptionist

Ajilon is looking for an Receptionist to work within the city of San Dimas , CA.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Answer all incoming phone calls in a polite, friendly, and professional manner.
  2. Respond appropriately to caller’s needs based on provided guidelines.
  3. Screen and transfer calls as needed.
  4. Welcome visitors in a warm and friendly manner.
  5. Maintain building security by ensuring visitor protocol is followed.
  6. Notify individuals when a visitor has arrived for a meeting.
  7. Maintain reception area and lobby in a clean and tidy manner.
  8. Receive front office deliveries; sort and distribute incoming mail.
  9. Image shipping documents from our 3PL facilities.
  10. Serve as a backup to the mailroom coordinator; imaging shipping documents for our local facilities and preparing outgoing FedEx and UPS packages.
  11. Maintain adequate inventory of basic office supplies; reorder and restock as needed.
  12. Perform additional duties as requested.

Minimum Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in an office environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; specifically, Outlook and Excel
  • Comfortable multi-tasking and prioritizing tasks without guidance
  • Punctual with a strong attendance history
  • Effective phone skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to contribute positively as part of a team, helping with various tasks as required.
  • Knowledge and Skills Required
