LHH is seeking a Human Resources Manager for a dynamic organization in Sandy Springs. We are seeking a seasoned and hands-on Human Resources Generalist to support a wide range of HR functions. This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about delivering high-quality HR services across payroll, benefits, compliance, and employee engagement.
Key Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources
Strong working knowledge of federal and state HR laws and regulations
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Proficiency in Excel and HRIS systems (ADP Workforce Now preferred)
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Self-starter and collaborative team player
Preferred Experience
Candidates should have demonstrated experience in:
Payroll processing (especially using ADP Workforce Now)
Benefits administration and invoice reconciliation
Recruitment and onboarding
Performance management
Employee relations and training
Leave of absence and separation processes
Core Responsibilities
HRIS & Payroll
Maintain and update HRIS with employee data, including new hires, changes, and terminations
Process semi-monthly payroll for salaried and hourly employees across multiple states
Manage salary adjustments, bonuses, and promotions
Generate monthly and year-end payroll reports
Compliance & HR Operations
Prepare and file required federal and state reports (e.g., 5500s)
Ensure compliance with workplace posting requirements
Oversee job descriptions and postings
Manage full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding
Administer FMLA and other leave processes
Provide training and coaching to managers
Coordinate employee engagement and recognition initiatives
Benefits Administration
Lead benefits administration including open enrollment and invoice reconciliation
Serve as the primary contact for employee benefits inquiries
Collaborate with benefits brokers to ensure smooth enrollment processes
Manage benefits changes due to life events and separations
Support employees through leave of absence and workers’ compensation processes
Oversee 401(k) plan compliance, audits, and hardship withdrawals
Complete employee and salary surveys
