LHH is seeking a Human Resources Manager for a dynamic organization in Sandy Springs. We are seeking a seasoned and hands-on Human Resources Generalist to support a wide range of HR functions. This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about delivering high-quality HR services across payroll, benefits, compliance, and employee engagement.

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources

  • Strong working knowledge of federal and state HR laws and regulations

  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills

  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Proficiency in Excel and HRIS systems (ADP Workforce Now preferred)

  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

  • Self-starter and collaborative team player

Preferred Experience

Candidates should have demonstrated experience in:

  • Payroll processing (especially using ADP Workforce Now)

  • Benefits administration and invoice reconciliation

  • Recruitment and onboarding

  • Performance management

  • Employee relations and training

  • Leave of absence and separation processes

Core Responsibilities

HRIS & Payroll

  • Maintain and update HRIS with employee data, including new hires, changes, and terminations

  • Process semi-monthly payroll for salaried and hourly employees across multiple states

  • Manage salary adjustments, bonuses, and promotions

  • Generate monthly and year-end payroll reports

Compliance & HR Operations

  • Prepare and file required federal and state reports (e.g., 5500s)

  • Ensure compliance with workplace posting requirements

  • Oversee job descriptions and postings

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding

  • Administer FMLA and other leave processes

  • Provide training and coaching to managers

  • Coordinate employee engagement and recognition initiatives

Benefits Administration

  • Lead benefits administration including open enrollment and invoice reconciliation

  • Serve as the primary contact for employee benefits inquiries

  • Collaborate with benefits brokers to ensure smooth enrollment processes

  • Manage benefits changes due to life events and separations

  • Support employees through leave of absence and workers’ compensation processes

  • Oversee 401(k) plan compliance, audits, and hardship withdrawals

  • Complete employee and salary surveys
