Payroll Analyst / Accountant

Role Overview:

  • Process multi-state weekly payroll for 330 employees on ADP Workforce Now.

  • Full-time, Monday-Friday, 100% onsite

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and process accurate, timely payroll, including salaries, benefits, taxes, garnishments, and deductions.

  • Maintain detailed records and generate payroll reports for internal use and compliance.

  • Reconcile payroll accounts, resolve discrepancies, and manage payroll tax filings.

  • Administer and maintain time and attendance systems.

  • Act as a point of contact for payroll-related questions.

  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local wage and hour regulations.

  • Support internal and external audits by providing required payroll documentation.

  • Identify opportunities for system improvements and support enhancements to payroll and HRIS tools.

Requirements:

  • 5–7 years of payroll experience with deep knowledge of wage and hour laws, compensation and benefits, payroll systems, and payroll and tax compliance.

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Business, HR, or related field preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of payroll’s impact on accounting, including reconciliation and general ledger reporting.

  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, service-oriented approach.

  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now and NetSuite, capable of creating sophisticated reports, understanding taxable income, and supporting internal and external audits.

  • Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.

  • Significant data extraction and reporting responsibilities to support the company's ESOP and 401K reporting requirements.

  • PTO: 10 vacation days after a 90-day probationary period, increasing to 15 days after one year, and 20 days after six years. Additionally, five days of sick leave per year.

Pay Details: $90,000.00 to $115,000.00 per year
