Major e-commerce and distribution company with a global range of customers is growing their Accounting team. This position is absolutely ideal for someone with 1-2 years of experience looking to learn and grow their skills. Reporting to the Controller, the selected candidate will be assigned a trainer and work closely with management of daily goals and tasks.

Responsibilities

Support accounting department with various financial activities including payables, receivables, billing and filing sales and use tax returns.

Audits invoices against purchase orders, research discrepancies, and approves for payment.

Prepare and create reports (cash flow, royalty, inventory).

Distribution of several daily, weekly and month-end reports

Assist with month-end closing, bank reconciliations and journal entries

Communicate with various department heads and sales team on obtaining necessary financial data.

Skills Required

Minimum 1 year of accounting experience within corporate setting.

AA or BS/BA degree is a big plus.

Intermediate Excel.

Eagerness to learn and expand accounting skills.

Ability to manage various projects with high attention to detail.

Work well in a fast-paced environment
