Accounts Receivable Specialist-Sarasota

LHH Recruitment Solutions has an Accounts Receivable Specialist position open with our client in Sarasota, FL. This is an onsite, contract (2 months - possibly longer) role.


Responsibilities


  • Prepare, post, verify and record payments
  • Communicate with vendors regarding accounts receivable issues
  • Also communicate via email and phone with customers regarding their accounts (i.e. answer questions, research/resolve payment/billing discrepancies, collect on past due amounts, negotiate payment settlements, process adjustments, etc.)

Experience


  • Minimum of two years of Accounts Receivable experience required

Education


  • High school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge/Skills


  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Effective customer service, communication, research, mathematical and organizational skills
  • Prior knowledge of accounting software a plus

Work Hours/Pay Rate


  • Monday-Friday - 40 hours per week
  • $20-23/hr.
