Job Title: Temporary Customer Support Specialist
Location: Sayville, NY
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM or 9:00 AM–5:00 PM (30-minute lunch) - full time onsite
Pay Rate: $20–$23/hour; dependent on experience
Potential for Permanent Hire: Yes
About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Temporary Customer Support Specialist to join our dynamic team. The position offers the potential to become permanent, depending on performance and business needs.
Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality customer support in a fast-paced, account management-style environment
Handle inbound and outbound phone communications with professionalism and clarity
Perform data entry, manage customer records, and ensure timely follow-ups
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues efficiently
Maintain accurate documentation and utilize MS Office tools for daily tasks
Must-Have Qualifications
Strong phone and computer skills
Excellent follow-up and organizational abilities
Experience working in a high volume environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure
A positive, solution-oriented temperament
Knowledge of electronics or mechanical aptitude is a strong plus
Pay Details: $20.00 to $23.00 per hour
