LHH Recruitment Solutions is assisting a client with a search for an accounts receivable accountant. The company is located near Schaumberg and have a hybrid schedule. This is a direct hire role that will take on accounts receivable and support month end close and reporting for AR.

Responsibilities:

• Add and update new customers

• Invoicing based on contract terms

• Follow up on outstanding payments

• Apply payments to customer accounts

• Research and resolve discrepancies

• Issue updated invoices as needed

• Update DSO reports

• Reconcile customer accounts

• Month end close journal entries, reconciliations and reporting for month end

• Cash flow updates and reporting

Requirements:

• 5 years of prior experience in a similar AR Accountant role

• Comfortable with Microsoft Excel

• Analytical mindset

• Detailed and deadline driven

Salary: $60K-$70K
